A New Chapter for ADG
With great pride, we would like to announce a new chapter for ADG. In preparation for our 70th anniversary in 2026, we have newly elected board members!
After serving 12 years as ADG’s president, Gloria McLean has passed the leadership of ADG to Anabella Lenzu. Anabella seeks to uphold ADG’s founding principles to support artists, dance education, and bring the dance community together.

H.T. Chen & Dancers will celebrate the 2025 Lunar New Year and ring in the Year of the Snake with three performances from January 24 to 26. The 10-member ensemble will present two works by founder/choreographer H.T. Chen that celebrate the storied history of Chinatown, appearing in LaMaMa Ellen Stewart Theatre, where the company was first presented in the early 1980.

The first free standing American school of Modern Dance established by Ruth St. Denis and Ted Shawn is facing demise.
