Since 1970, The American Dance Guild has presented awards to honor remarkable dance artists at our annual festival. The award began as the Annual Award for Distinguished Artistic / Scholarly Achievement, and transitioned in 2012 to honor elders in the field as the Lifetime Achievement in Dance Award.
