"Topiary Horses," is a magical realist dance drama; a journey into childhood memory and fantasy. The piece combines elements of dance, theater, and poetic text as two sisters (Tess Hartman, Maré Hieronimus) grapple with the loss of childhood wonderment and innocence, playing with the edge of what is real or imaginary, and what exists as dream
or indisputable fact.
